Meet the 3M™ Protecta® Rebel™ Self Retracting Lifeline. 

3M™ Protecta® products are manufactured to be durable, user-friendly, compliant with OSHA and ANSI standards, and are conveniently budget friendly—an aspect that almost seems too good to be true. The Rebel™ SRL (self retracting lifeline) boasts a 420 lb user capacity, an ergonomic carrying handle, and incorporated lifeline that extends and retracts automatically, giving the worker complete freedom of movement around the work area. The Rebel™ SRL is available in thermoplastic housing, and can be ordered with either 50′ or 66′ long galvanized cables. 

In the event of a fall, the Rebel™ takes action, and a speed sensing brake activates, stops the fall and reduces the forces a worker would experience to safe levels. An impact indicator is standard on the Rebel™ units, and allows the user to easily inspect and verify if the equipment was involved in a fall.
