Turnbuckles are utilized to apply tension to wire rope or cable, and are a necessary rigging product that we’re all familiar with. When rigging our own jobs, we trust Chicago Hardware’s drop forged turnbuckles to rig safely. In entertainment production rigging, the most common end fitting is jaw to jaw (JJ).
Chicago Hardware has been an expert at wire rope, chain fittings, and industrial hardware since 1912. Their turnbuckles meet performance requirements of ASTM Specification F1145-92 Type 1 Grade 1 and have a safety factor of 5:1.
This item has a 5/8” bolt and cotter key and is available with various opening lengths. We have access to a multitude of end fittings and turnbuckle lengths that are not featured online. If you’re interested in a different turnbuckle than what is offered on our online shop, please contact us today.
